The Proposal:On May 10th, 2010 I popped the question and she said yes! It was a Monday about 1:20pm, a little rain as I drove up just a little past Lynn's school. I parked behind so as not to be noticed. I paced back and forth in the parking lot at the back of the school looking for my target class room. I began to feel as if someone might notice me in the school and contact the authorities suggesting I was a child predator of some sort. I decided to head for the front entrance since I knew Lynns exact location at that time. I ran into a teacher that I had recognized and quickly explained what I was there to do and where I need to be. I followed her inside and she cautiously brought me downstairs and into the art room where Lynns students were. Mrs. Bouthot (Tonya) had already informed the class and got them ready. I gave Tanya the go and I took my place. Lynn suddenly recieves a call that 1 of her students was in trouble and need to come down to the art class. When she arrives she see the students are holding up a sign that reads "Will you marry me Ms. Rapp?". Lynn is confused and almost upset and thought of a bad joke, turns to Tanya who is now about crying, then turns to Nikki and realizes that I had just come out of no where and got down on 1 knee with a small box opened to reveal the ring. She freaks as it hits her that this is really happening. She says "of course I will" I rise up to hug, the class and surrounding teachers cheer. I motion to put the ring on her finger. She is so nervous she extends boths hands with the fingers spread wide, as if I was going to put 1 ring on each of her 10 fingers, I then slide her ring on the correct finger.. |
